The SAPD was dispatched to 5687 Melrose (TLCA) after the faculty was made aware of the suspect posting a photo of a firearm with the phrase “Come to School” on “Snapchat.” TLCA went into an immediate lockdown as it was learned that the suspect (a TLCA Student) had left the campus for lunch. Multiple SAPD Officers responded to the school, and TLCA was placed on Lockdown as the investigation took place.
San Angelo, TX (4/27/23 2:07pm): A 17-year-old male is in custody after an investigation regarding a social media threat at TLCA High School. Paulhill was then transported to the Tom Green County Jail for the mentioned offense.
Paulhill was taken into custody and was secured in a patrol unit pending the arrival of SAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division.Īt the conclusion of the preliminary investigation, SAPD’s Detectives determined that Paulhill be charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Jefferson and Junius, as he was observed operating a vehicle matching the description that was given on scene. Officers were able to quickly locate Paulhill, near N. Officers learned that the suspect (Paulhill) had fled the scene in a dark colored Dodge Charger and that he was possibly heading towards East 19 th street. Officers provided first aid to the victim, and he was transported to Shannon Medical Center by the SAFD for his injuries.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 33-year-old male who was observed to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The San Angelo Police Department was dispatched to a Northside Apartment Complex for a shooting victim in the late afternoon hours of 4/28/23. The suspect (Kaya Paulhill-21yoa) was quickly taken into custody by responding officers and is currently facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
